DTN COMMENTS:  A light trade is being reported in all three major feeding 
areas this morning Northern dressed business has developed in Nebraska at 
$322, $2 higher than last week's weighted averages. Very light Southern 
trade is being reported at fully steady money with yesterday's deals at 
mostly $201, that was about steady in Kansas and $1 higher in Texas. 
Asking prices today are around $202-plus in the South, and $323-plus in 
the North.

Beef cutouts are mixed at midday (choice 333.19 -0.95, select 319.09 
+1.05) with light to moderate box movement (34.08 lds of choice cuts, 
13.73 lds of select cuts, 0.00 lds of trim, and 10.49 lds of ground). 
Cattle futures at midday are mostly sharply lower on both live and feeder 
contracts.
