Since 2010, I have been handing the Grain Marketing decisions for numerous producers and corporations/LLC's. I enjoy doing it, and it has been very successful for my clients.
Our marketing program is VERY customized to fit ANY operation. I need to know # of acres planted, APH, "on-the-farm storage" and cash flow needs. I like knowing rough estimate of input costs. Though using futures and options is NOT required, We recommend having an account open. This gives us flexibility to manage risk IF the need arises.
My mission is to make small, incremental sales when Corn/Soybean markets are "over-bot", or in "SELL SIGNAL". I make the cash sale, send you a text, update our cash sales marketing sheet, and email you the update. IF prefer to use YOUR OWN ("DIRECT TO TERMINAL") account, that's fine! I'll notify the terminal of our marketing agreement and make sales in YOUR NAME. I'll still text you the sale & update the marketing sales sheet!
My service is PERFECT for those frustrated with grain marketing, don't have the time for research, etc. Also corporations or trust's with MORE THAN 1 decision maker. It's best to have an experienced 3rd party handling it.
I charge by $/acre when dealing with ENTIRE crops. Some producers like to "give me HALF". Some like to give me "X amount of bushels" (regardless of yield). In that case, I charge "c/bushel". Just need to know HOW MANY bushels need to be sold "out of the field" and Cash flow needs on THOSE bushels. Very simple.
